Donate Your Tech - Leeds

On Thursday 25th February, we are partnering with Alwoodley Primary School and Northern Travel Services to host a tech donation drive.

If you have a laptop, tablet or phone that you don't use anymore, come and donate it in confidence that it will reach a family struggling with digital isolation. Please make sure that your device meets the following criteria:

- Turns on & functions normally

- The keyboard, mouse and screen is in full working order

- It comes with a charger

- The body is free of significant dents & scratches

- Is less than 10 years old

- Has been factory reset with all data deleted

Phones, tablets and game consoles should be working fine, able to switch on and off, run programmes and apps, and should come with their power cables/chargers.

More help for wiping data on our FAQ's https://www.communitylaptops.co.uk/faqs

The event will be fully prepared for your safety and ours. Please ensure you maintain 2m distance and wear your mask at all times, and also that each device is wiped down with antibacterial wipes (do not use water on electronic devices to avoid water damage).

The entrance will be signposted but to find us, please enter the school grounds and turn right to the lower hall.

Get in touch if you have any questions otherwise, see you there!
